Connecting to Project Server via Project Pro 2003

Hi,

I have two users running Project Pro 2003. One can connect to Project Server
fine, the other user gets an error when logging in which reads "an error
occurred while trying to access Project Server" then gives a list of
possible causes and solutions, none of which are applicable!

The user can access Project Server via PWA and it recognises his Windows
user account, so he gets the Home Page straight away.

Another strange thing is that in Project Professional, I asked the user to
verify the connection settings on the Project Server accounts dialog - the
URL is fine, but when he clicks "Test Connection" he gets the same error
message.

Any ideas?

I have a similar problem, we are in the process of a pilot and I all of a
sudden cannot access the project server from MS Project pro. The only change
to our environment is that the I.P address of the server was changed.

I am trying to find out how to troubleshoot the connection, does anyone know
of any details on how the connection process works?
