Constant Error Message in either recognizingmy User Name and/or Password dropping

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop I constantly have issues with my POP account with bellsouth.

I either get an error message that my user name is not recognized or that my password is bad would I like to re-enter?

I have tried going to my e-mail chain and saving my password, but apparently, I am either doing something incorrectly or it doesn't work.

BTW, I have no issues with my other e-mail address which is IMAP.

Any suggestions?

Open the Keychain in Applications/Utilities.

1) Find the account info and delete in the keychain.
2) Run Keychain First Aid.
3) In Entourage delete the account. Not just the info.
4) Create the account new being careful to type in the info correctly.
