Copying from Removable to Floppy Disk

I have a large storage removable disk and I have been copying from this disk
onto floppy disks without any problem. All of a sudden I cannot copy to the
floppy disks. A dialog keeps saying that I have no more available space on
the floppy disk, but I have deleted everything on the floppy disk. I would
like to understand what has gone wrong. Did I delete a program that I was
not supposed to?

Many of my files on my floppy disks are now coming in computer code of
zeroes and whatever. Why are my files changing from English to this code,
sometimes right in front of my eyes? How can I change them back. I think
they might be PDG files but that was not how my files were saved. They were
typed and saved in English??

Also, my e-mails often come in too large. It's not within the proper space
and it is very annoying to have to read something that is off the page
because you have to keep moving the page. Is there some way to make the
print shorter?

Also, why do things change just out of the blue?

It looks like the floppy disk is corrupted. Can suggest to reformat the
disk to make sure there is nothing on it before copying any more files
on it.

To reformat the disk, launch your Windows Explorer, double-click on "My
Computer" icon, Now right-click on floppy disk icon, Select format.

To launch Windows Explorer, Start, All Programs, Accessories, Windows
Explorer should be on the list here.

Hello Anonymous,

I was able to reformat 3 or 5 floppy disks. However I was only able to copy
and paste on one of them. The message is always "There isn't enough room on
your disk". My documents is 269 pages. However, if I am able to copy the
full document to one floppy disk, I should be able to do it to all. I guess
the disks are corrupted even if I am able to reformat it?

Why not save the document to your HD first before transferring it to
your floppy disk? What is the size of the FILE?

It is time to move on to USB pen drive or flash drive as they are quite
robust and can store more information.

Floppy Disks are gradually becoming a collectors' item!
