I am unable to save files to my floppy disk drive or cd drive.

Is it possible that two drives quit working at the same time? I need to
clear files from my hard drive and would like to transfer the information to
cd or floppy. I keep getting that neither of this drives are in use and to
insert a disk or floppy. What the heck is up with that?

This would be better asked in the group for your operating system. Open
Windows Explorer and try copying files to the drives that way. Also
Norton AutoProtect has been known to disable removable drive access.
Disable that. Otherwise please ask further questions in the group for
your operating system and be sure to post the exact error message you get.
