Crash Entourage every time, Invite, Schedule tab looking at Exchange
Resources.

Can someone at Microsoft please fix this issue, which I can repeat
every time.
Entourage 2008, 12.1.1 (0805022), with other office for Mac installed
on Mac OS 10.5.4

Connected to Exchange servers, at my high tech company, thousands of
users, IT dept runs, don’t have access too.
All is fine for the most part except this one thing that just drives
me nuts,
Create an event, invite others, plus resources (Conference rooms).
Select more then a few rooms, say 8-12, click on schedule to find a
room up to include in the invite, scroll down to see additonal rooms,
Entourage will crash every time.
Comes right back up.
But I don’t have solution to find an available resource with this bug,
which has been present since I switched to Entourage from Windows XP 4
months ago.
Entourage for the most part is very stable other then this, as is my
current MacBook Pro

Let me know if you need more info.
Anyone else seen this?
Quick search did not find others reporting same issue.

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron!

I've followed your instructions but I'm not reproducing your problem. I
have Entourage 2008 12.1.1 (080522) running on Mac OS X 10.5.4 with all
recent security updates applied.

In my testing I added four attendees and 11 resources (conference rooms)
and this makes me have to scroll in the Scheduling list to see
everything. I can scroll from top to bottom repeatedly and I see the
availability of everything.

I suspect you may have corrupt preferences. The easiest way to test is
create a new Mac OS X user account and set up your Exchange account in
Entourage again. A new user account won't have your old Entourage
preferences. Test your problem again. If Entourage doesn't crash then we
know we need to concentrate somewhere within your existing account.

Hope this helps!
