dynamic web templates.

New to FP 2003, but have been using older versions for awhile.

Do dymamic web templates require anything on the server-side? (FP extension
or anything)

I was reading about them on the office site, and see how you use them, but
very little on how they work.
Is there a better tutorial somewhere ?
And are they comparable to Master Pages in .Net 2.0?
I'm familiar with asp.net 1.1 and asp 3.0.

Thanks

Mark

DWT's don't need FrontPage Extensions to view because the
HTML for them is part of each page that's called up from
the server as they are viewed. The purpose is more to
keep your layout and colors and design from being altered
accidentaly or intentionally by settings those areas of
the page as 'uneditable'. They give great consistency and
stability to your design and layout. It just takes a
little while to get used to them. Think of them as a
giant step forward from shared borders and includes.

Hello Ed -- have you by any chance attempted to use or otherwise
integrate FP2003 templates with the ASP.NET 2.0 templates?

I'm sorry, I am not familiar with asp.net. I am on
standard Unix servers and have used only html, cgi and
php. Wish I could be of more help.
