Entourage conflict with ATT POP

I have been using my ATT POP account linked to Entourage for a couple
of years now but want to get rid of ATT and only use my MAC IMAP
account. I created a MAC account, unchecked the "include this accoun
in the send and receive all schedule" under my ATT account. The
problem is that when I do that, my MAC mail gets dumped to my ATT
account and I have to sign in to ATT to retrieve it. The only way to
get my MAC mail to Entourage is to recheck the "include this account
in the send and receive all schedule" box under my ATT account. Why
does this happen? And what happens when I deactive my ATT account,
will I no longer get my MAC mail?

Thanks, JaciG

It sounds like you have your Mac mail account forwarded to your ATT account.
See the directions for setting up you dot Mac account:

If you continue to have problems, you need to describe in detail how you
have the account set up.

HI Diane, I set up the MAC POP account following these instructions,
and I checked everywhere and can not find where or how I would have
foarded it to my ATT acount, I'm very perplexed at this point. I even
tried deleting the ATT account from entourage, deleting the mac
account and recreating the mac. But unless I have the ATT created and
enabled to send and receive, my mac mail goes to my ATT account.

Look over the account set up for ATT accounts and see if there is something
there you overlooked.
