Entourage crashing but menu bar won't go away in 10.6

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I'm having issues with several computers that were recently upgraded to Snow Leopard (clean install) where Entourage will hang or crash and when you force quit Entourage, the program quit and the process will drop from Activity Monitor but the menu bar at the top will remain and you can't click off of it. The only way to regain control of the Mac is to log out and log back in. Clicking on the Finder icon in the dock or any other applications won't work either and windows in the Finder are grayed out like they aren't active but clicking on them won't highlight them.

Anyone run into this problem?

Current machines affected are Intel iMacs and Mac Pros.
Software: OS 10.6.2-10.6.3 v1.1
Office: 12.2.4

Your description doesn't seem to fix normal reports of issues. Did you
remove the duplicate fonts in the Microsoft font folder. Snow Leopard
installed some newer version and this has been one of the main causes of
problems.
