entourage keeps crashing when selecting/trying to view email with an attachment

Hi,

I am using entourage for mac 2008 Version 12.3.1 (110725).

All of a sudden Entourage crashes whenever I view or try to open an
email with an attachment (word in this case).

I have tried to delete the entourage temp folder - the problem is it
doesn't exist on my mac! I have rebuilt the database to no effect.

Any ideas?
