Entourage won't download recent messages from msn.com account

Since Tuesday afternoon I have been having problems with Entourage
2004 (11.4.0) not downloading messages from my msn.com account. This
problem appeared simultaneously on both my home imac and my work ibook
G4. The problem occurs with both my home and work wireless. The
error message I get is:

http error. The server is temporarily unable to fulfill the request.
Could not retrieve mail.
Error -18497

I am able to send mail. When I tried setting up my account again
entourage was able to get everything from msn except any messages more
recent than Tuesday afternoon. I am still able to access all my msn
mail online or on my iphone (through izzymail). I have tried
restarting and repairing permissions to no avail. I have tried to get
help from Window's Live but they suggested I needed entourage help.

Any advice?

Is this a POP or IMAP account?

Since it is on both computers, this suggest an email that Entourage is
having problems downloading. For two computers to experience the same issue
at the same time indicates to me something other than corruption or a cache
refresh that's needed.

We don't have that error listed, but errors close in number often suggest
the direction to look. Error -18493 involves your account.

likely it will be the oldest message on Tuesday.

Thank you for your suggestion. It started working again an hour or so
ago. I deleted a few messages just because I didn't need them
anymore. Maybe I hit on the right one!

How long did it take for this to be resolved? Entourage has been saying this
about my live account for two days now.
