Error 1335

H

Horacio Acevedo

When trying to install MS-OFFICE in my son's computer I
keep getting the following msg:
ERROR 1335 " The cabinet file "office1.cab" required for
this installation is corrupt and can not be used. This
could indicate a network error, an error reading from the
cr-rom, or a problem with this package".
Please let me know how to proceed with the installation.
Thanks, Horacio 1/29/04

Try the following:

Start, Run
msiexec /unregister
Click Ok, nothing will seem to happen
Start, Run
msiexec /regserver
and the hour glass might flash for a second but thats it

Reboot and try installation again
