I am using a CD that I have bought with a product key #, I have previously
installed it onto my laptop but lost word, powerpoint and excel, so I
searched for them on my cpu and they were no where to be found. I then
uninstalled it, from my programs, tried re-installing it and a message comes
up saying:

"error 1935. an error occurred during the installation of assembly component."

I do not have .NET Framework Version 2.0 installed on my computer and it is
not compatible with my 64-bit. I tried the 1.1 version but the same error
code came up.

can anyone help me?

I am having the exact same problem trying to install Office 2007 Enterprise
on my Vista Home Premium 64bit computer with a product key. I was in the
middle of loading it when I had a power outage and when I tried to reinstall
I received the 1935 Error message with HRESULT: 0x8007054F. I have tried
everything to include restoring my system back to an earlier time before I
installed and deleting whatever Office files I could find and I still keep
getting the same error message. Please can anyone help!
