i have been experiencing error -3221 intermittently for about a week
now. i maintain two email accounts using entourage and when i get
error -3221, i am able to check & send mail through the web-based
interface for each account, indicating that the problem is not with my
host. it also does not see a problem with my internet connection, as i
am still able to surf the internet and send and receive messages from
a third account using os x's mail program. i don't recall this problem
occuring at home (we use the same isp in the office i do at home), and
other users here in the office (on pc-based windows/outlook systems),
are not experiencing similar problems, though we share the same
site/email host.
