error during setup of Publisher 2007

I have purchased publisher 2007. I insert the cd, then I entered the product
key, then I click Install Now. After about 1 minute I receive an error
message: "Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 encountered an error during setup".
I had this same problem over the weekend trying to download the trial
version. I have Norton 360 on my computer. I tried disabling the virus and
spyware protection, then put the cd back in and tried to install again but
received the same message. I am not a computer geek and need HELP. I also
have Microsoft Office Standard 2007 on my computer (word, excel, powerpoint,
and outlook)
