error messages

when publishing a web with frontpage 2003 (copied part of a word doc into
the web page), got error 500 ORT not understood 500 LPRT not understood

clicked on ok- web publishing was canceled twice.
third time, i clicked on synchronize, and then publish- overwrote the
file on the server, and the published page went through.
what kind of an error was that?
it looke to me like it was some sort of printer code?
any ideaas.

A 500 error "normally" indicates a permissions error on the server.
Have your host check permission settings, and / or check to ensure the
server is FTP capable.
