Have you loaded SP1?

Here's an item from
http://projectserver201.blogspot.com/2008/01/issues-fixed-in-project-server-2007.html

72 When you save a project to the Project Server server, you may receive the
following error message: "Project Server encountered a problem with this
error code: 42." This issue may be caused by bad data in a field that causes
a dependent field calculation to fail. This unexpected data causes an
overflow exception that Project Server cannot handle.

I have already find it.

How do I install it? should I uninstall my Microsoft project first?

After instalation, should i restart my computer?

thank you

You should close any open files and make sure that no one else is using the
server, then run the Service Pack. It will tell you if it needs to reboot
the machine.

As with any server modification, you should always have a known good backup
before you apply the service pack. Most admins like to test the service
packs on a Dev box before they patch their live server. I personally have no
experience with this particular service pack or Server 2008, so cannot tell
you if there are any problems. Perhaps others can chime in here with their
experiences.

Thank steve,

I've applied sp 1 but my problem still persists.
I'm curios there is a corrupted project, so that i try to open server
setting> Delete Enterprise Objetct on the Project Web Access (Project
server). Suddenly it raise this error:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: ProjectServerError(s)
LastError=GeneralUnhandledException Instructions: Pass this into
PSClientError constructor to access all error information
at
Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.WebService.PWA.AdminReadDBCleanableProjects(Boolean
fFromWorking)

There are some task on the queue, but i can't "cancel job" into it.

any help will be very appreciated...

If you look in the ULS log, it will give you more details about the error.
Look in <Drive>:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server
Extensions\12\LOGS, starting with the most recent log and working backwards.
You can configure the log service to capture more information if needed.
Have a look at this article:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc197503.aspx

Also take a look at this article to help you clear the queue:
