Error

I am trying to install office home and Student 2007 and when it is two
thirds of the way through I get the folling' Error 1311 source file notfound
D:\ SHU011.cab' Can anyone help me please. Ken

Do you have Windows XP SP-1 installed? Make sure Windows is fully patched
and try again.

One thing you can try is copying the files from the CD into a new folder that
you create and put it on the desktop and then run the setup program from the
folder.

If you do that the Windows Installer may look for the installation on the
Desktop which might make adding/removing features a bit difficult if after
the installation the folder was deleted.

Thanks for your help and I put it in a new folder and I installed from thst.

You do realize that by copying the files from the CD to your local drive you
can never delete the folder, right?
