Exchange Error

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I have installed the latest version of Entourage Web Services addition and it's working well, however when ever I launch the app I get an error. I tested this on 3 other Mac's in the building on our exchange server and get the same error.

"Unable to establish a secure connection to 213.*.**.** because the server's certificate does not have a Key Usage of Key Encipherment or it does not have an Extended Key Usage of Server Authentication.
If you continue, the information you view and send will be encrypted, but will not be secure."

I followed the instructions for installing the certificates in this article <http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887413> even though I am running Entourage 2008. However when I try to assign the certificate in Account Settings I get the following error:

"Entourage did not find any valid certificates on the Mac OS keychain."

However I can see the certificate under Microsoft_Intermediate_Certificates in Keychain Access and in Microsoft Cert Manager under Intermediate Certificate Authorities.

Any ideas to fix this would be brilliant, I have a bunch of Mac users experiencing this issue.

If it helps I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.8

I followed the instructions for installing the certificates in this

in Account Settings I get the following error:

"Entourage did not find any valid certificates on the Mac OS

However I can see the certificate under
Microsoft_Intermediate_Certificates in Keychain Access and in
Microsoft Cert Manager under Intermediate Certificate Authorities.

Make sure any root certificates you have are installed under the login
keychain and see if this makes a difference. Keep in mind that you may
still have your certificates improperly installed on your server.
Someone in the microsoft.public.exchange.admin newsgroup may be able to
walk you through any troubleshooting steps.

Hope this helps!

Hi Bill

Yep all those were done under the Admin login, but no luck. I'll see if I can get onto the news group you mentioned and try someone on there.

Thank you

Jordy
