Form FP2002

L

LindaM

Hi,
When I try to publish a form, I receive the error
1. When I save the web page with the form, I get the message that FP
extensions are not on the server, although they are.
And after I publish, I get:
2. When I submit I get the error message :HTTP 404 Not Found" even though I
have a confirmation page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Linda

Thanks. Here is the information I left out of my original post.
1. The URL is: http://www.carrollshomes.com/VoucherRequest.htm
2. I published it through Front Page HTTP
3. I am saving results via email and file. .
4. The form contains: [FrontPage Save Results Component] which I can't
eliminate.
5. I talked to my ISP and they have assured me that Front Page Extensions is
installed with email.

Has your ISP/Host enabled the forms to email transport in the extentions?

My ISP said they have it enabled. I will contact them again on Monday to
have them recheck.
However if I just publish to "send to file" without email, when I Publish, I
get the error message: "The following pages in your website contain dynamic
Front Page components such as a Search Form or a Front Page form handler.
They will not work because the server you are publishing to does not have
the Front Page server extensions from Microsoft installed."
I am using other Front Page components successfully on this website.
Thanks for the help.

Based on the error message it sounds like your ISP doesn't have the
FrontPage Extensions installed or they are corrupt. You need to check with
them. The other components you're using might not require the FrontPage
Extensions depending on what they are.

Doesn't appear to be any extensions installed at your URL.
