FP2K publish error....

I have just started getting the following error:

404 Not Found
Not Found The requested URL /_vti_bin/shtml.exe/_vti_rpc was not found
on this server.

Started with one of my webs and seems now to be on all. Is this a file
somehow deleted on my local system? It happens with more than one remote
server. If a 'lost' file how do I get it back?

Have you tried restoring / resetting the extensions??

I reset the extensions on one server, then published the web using it
successfully. Switched to 2nd web I wanted to pub and tried it too. It
went OK too! Must be gremlins at work. Considering the time of the year
it's just possible -:)
Thanks for the advice.

Oops...The 2nd site test result was wrong. I had earlier tonite
published that web to a local folder. Reset to web and this time I got
the same error as below so I guess I'm going to have to go after Tripod
to figger out what the problem is. harumph! oh well.....probably the
same gremlin.

I went to Tripod Account Manager and found that I was using 100% of the
disk space allocated to my account. I removed and reinstalled the
extensions there which freed up over 20 meg of space somehow. I am now
able to publish so I presume the error was due to the account exceeding
allocated space available. It might be nice if there was an error
message that said that disk space was exceeded rather than the cryptic
one given.

Thank goodness for simple solutions!

Sounds like something has changed. Check your server error logs.
