Groove 2007 communications

I have successfully installed and run Groove 2007 for 3 weeks. Suddenly, for
no apparent reason, it will not send data (synchronisations and discussion
items) to the server, although I do receive them from other workspace users.
The communications manager says that comms are normal, but there is data to
send.
Does anyone know how to deal with this?

Hi Andrew,

Have you tried the GrooveClean tool? If not, please go to the following
folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12. Locate the
GrooveClean.exe file. Double click on it. After the process complete, test
this issue agian.

If this issue still persists, I would like to suggest that you can backup
your Groove Account as file, then, Run the GrooveCleanall tool to remove all
the data from your computer. Then, use the account backup file to restore
your account.

Is this issue resolved?

Thanks. I located and tried to run the grooveclean utility, but it opens a
window, then closes it immediately, so it doesn't seem to be working. If this
is not working then there would seem no point in saving the account as a
file, then using the non working tool again. Double clicking on the utility
opens the utility window for about 3 seconds, then it closes automatically
before I have a chance to do anything! What next?
