Groove password retrieval/reset

I have recently been allocated a new work laptop and we use groove.
I am having trouble resetting password as account was set up by old employee
and I have no idea what the password is?

Hi there,

If you do not know the password, and if you do not have an option to reset
the password, then you cannot access the account. You will need to run a
grooveclean –all and remove the account from the machine and then create a
new account.
