Hanging application WINWORD.EXE

Hi everyone. I keep having a problem with word 2000, sp3 -- it keeps
hanging from time to time and then it crashes. I keep getting following
error message on the event viewer:

Source: Application Hang
Category: (101)
Type: Error
Event ID: 1002

Hanging application WinWord.exe, version 9.0.0.6926, hang module hungapp,
version 0.0.0.0., hang address 0x00000000.


I can't find anything relating to this error message in MS's website. Any
ideas?

Thanks Heathcliff. I'll give it a go. Why wouldn't MS have a post for this
problem? And why does is it seem that a corrupt template is the answer for
every problem with word??
