How do I add graphics that bleed to edge of page?

I am building a template that has a masthead and bottom band that both bleed
to edge of page. How do I do this in Word? Any ideas would be appreciated!

It's easy to create them, but you won't be able to print them unless your
printer is capable of it. Floating (wrapped) objects can appear anywhere on
the page; they are not bound by margins.
