How do I change the paper size to A3 in word?

I am trying to manipulate documents in A3 in word for a teaching coleague,
but there appears to be no way of doing this in Office XP. Even by messing
with the margins and 'approximating' A3, there tend to be printing issues
that make it practically unworkable.

Is there a way around this?

You can only setup A3 documents if the current printer driver is capable of
printing A3 documents. The printer does not have to be physically connected.
