How do I delete a large message from my outbox?

I put outlook in offline mode and restarted outlook. I got the following
message when I clicked on the outbox folder:

Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the
specified folder location. Another application closed unexpectedly while
using your Personal Folders file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel
Seatvet\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst'. To prevent potential
damage to your Personal Folders file, it will not be available until you
close all applications currently using it.

Any suggestions?

Use task manager to close all instances of Outlook.exe. A restart of your
machine will also accomplish this - ensure you do not have a PDA docked.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
