How do I set up automatic navigation to a previous slide?

I'm trying to set up an interactive Power Point presentation and need some
slides to return to a previous slide automatically. So far, I haven't been
able to figure out how. All methods of going to a previous slide seem to
require a mouse click or mouse over.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

That helps, but is not quite what I'm looking for. I need the slide to
AUTOMATICALLY return to a previous slide; without a mouse click, or key press
or any other user input. The slide plays a video and I have it set for
automatic transition after "X" amout of seconds (the length of the video),
but it always goes to the next slide. I've tried various methods, including
hyperlinking hidden "hotspots", triggers from custom animation, etc., but
haven't found anything that will do what I need. I'm beginning to suspect I
need a plugin, but if that's true, I don't know what it is or where to find
it.

Are you sure that:

(1) You created a custom show that includes the slide with the video and
not the next slide.
(2) You hyperlinked to the custom show, NOT the slide with the video.
(3) You checked Show and Return when hyperlinked to the custom show.

If you did all those things, it will work just like you want. If you
missed any of them, it will not.

I believe that did the trick. Thanks very much; that was the final hurdle in
getting everything to work as desired.
