How to 'compare' project/s windows ???

Is it not possible to 'compare' project/s windows like with Excel... ie
arrange windows of different projects horiz or vert in MSP main interface
wdo, and move up and down rows simultaneously (ie when move in one wdo, the
other wdo moves also) ?
Thanks again for your help.

Hi akm,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Not in the same way. The best I can offer is to use Window/New Window...
and select the same project. Then Window/Arrange All, but you'll have to
scroll each window separately.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Thank you for the reply.
Too bad about not being able to 'compare' with MSP.
Would be nice if they MS could add it sometime.
Thanks again.

The windows do not move in unison in Poject. You can use Window/Arrange to
view the two schedules, however.
Additionally, the analysis toolbar contains a Compare Project Versions
utility. It is a bit finicky but will work as long as both project files
have the same ancestor. That is, if you have the Monday version and the
Tuesday version of the same file. The project Compare utility will not work
on your schedule and a similar schedule generated by someone else.
