HTTP error. The psot data is too large

Email Client: Exchange

We have put in a new SSL certificate to enable us to use entourage externally via the OWA address of our web server. We installed a 30 day trial of the ssl cert and everything went fine. At the end of the trial we brought the certificate for a year.

Now on our mac computers, just about every email that we try to send we get:

HTTP error. The post data is too large.

Mail could not be sent. The message has been moved to your Drafts folder.

Error -18587.

I have researched this error and all i could find was that the username was not correct. This is not the case as the account settings have not changed, and it is happening on all macs.

Any help would be appreciated as i have found nothing helpful on the net.

Regards,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I really don't think this issue is anywhere related to SSL cert.

1. Is Entourage configured with the primary email address? Make sure that
you are configuring Entourage with the primary SMTP address.
2. What happen if you remove the SSL cert from the server? for testing
purpose
3. Is the issue happening for all the emails you sent from Entourage?
4. Is the entourage client configured as suggested in kb931350?
