hyperlink address too long???

Anna

Hello from Newbie.

I am having trouble inserting hyperlinks to URLs that
exceed 250 characters... I used to work with Frontpage
2000 (4.0) and never had this problem??? VERY
frustrating! Would anyone know of a way around this?

Thanks!

As many browsers don't support URLs that are longer than 256 characters,
perhaps you should work on making them (the URLs) shorter instead, by
shortening file names, and using less nested folders in your web.

Hi Thomas. Thank you so much! Now I see that I really
gave myself out with that question... I had never
ventured into the HTML view before. Not as difficult as I
had imagined. Works great! Thanks again!
