IMAP - if Live Sync enabled, do I still needa scheduled Send and Receive?

Hi..

If I have Live Sync enabled do I still need to have the Send and Receive schedule enabled?

Seems kind of redundant, don't you think?

Technically no, although Live Sync will occasionally stop syncing if
the server gets overloaded and doesn't respond to requests. I've always
found it's nice to have an occasional schedule that kicks it back on.
