individual text formating on chart view

i have some milestones in my project which i have rolled-up to the summary
bar. i have added text to my rolled-up milestones, but what i want is to
change the text font and color only for one or some of them, not for all.

Hi,

I'm not sure whether you want to reformat fields in the left part or in the
graphical part.
In the left part this is readily available since Format, Foint wil act upon
the selected cell(s).
As for text in the right part, I know of no way to change the format for
individual task(s).

i am concerned about the graphical view and want to differentiate the
rolled-up milestones with the different text size and colour.

Pardon me for jumping in. Although Jan is certainly correct, here is an
option that might just work for you.

Since text can be placed multiple locations in and around the Gantt
graphic, you could put some of the milestone text in one location (e.g.
right) and other milestone text in a different location (e.g. left).
Text in each location can be individually formatted.
