Hi,
I have 2 computers - a laptop running Windows ME with
Office '97, and a desktop running Windows XP with Office
XP.
I use a Canon scanner to scan small pictures. When I
save the pictures in JPG format they are saved at the
correct 100% size.
However, when I insert the pictures into Word, the size
of the picture in Word is different depending on which
Word version I insert it into.
Word XP appears to keep the picture at the 100% size.
Word '97, on the other hand, appears to enlarge the
picture to about 200% of the size. I then need to resize
the picture to the correct size within the word document -
certainly a suitable workaround, but very fiddly.
Does anyone know if this is a bug in Word '97, or is
there an option I can set somewhere to ensure the
pictures I insert are always inserted real-size?
Thanks,
Jeremy.
