Installing disk 2 of Office 2007 Ultimate

I am running 32-bit Vista Ultimate SP2 fully updated. When I try to install
Office 2007 disk 2 it says I must use an old version installer (msi 3.1). I
downloaded the update package for 3.1 [WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe].
When I run this I get "Not enough storage is available to process this
command" although I have 4 Gb RAM and over 100 Gb unused hartd drive space.

Also, I have Windows installer 4.5 on my system. Why doesn't that work to
install older versions of Microsoft software?

Help will be much appreciated,

Norman

If you have no need to install BCM (Outlook Business Contact Manager) dont
install it
Have you run win Update, specifically for Net Framework?
