I have an academic Edition virsion of FP2000, i am trying to install it on
windows XP using the product key on the back of the CD case but it says not a
valid product key, does anyone knows if it needs to be reactivated or how can
i get a new product key? Thanks.

Common mistakes in entering a key are writing:
0 instead of uppercase o or vice versa.
5 instead of uppercase s ...
8 instead of uppercase b ...

Try checking for that.

Yeah, and the way zero and capital O are written are not always easy to
distinguish. It can also vary - if you see Ø is it zero or capital O ?

If you mean the kind where the / doesn't go through the 0 but is all
inside it then it is a Zero what you wrote below is a standard Danish
Ø which isn't in the English alfabet.
