Installing Photodraw on Windows XP

F

Feemark

I am trying to install Photodraw 2000 on a laptop with Windows XP and running
Internet Explorer 7 (Beta).

My wife loves this program and finds it extremely easy to use, not to
mention the fact that most of our images are in this format.

I have the rest of the Office software installed and running OK on this
machine, but when I try to install Photodraw it says that it requires
Internet Explorer Version 4. During attempted install it says that a newer
version of Internet Explorer is on the machine and it will only install the
newest components click OK. I have tried this and also tried clicking Cancel
but that doesn't work. No matter what I do it won't let me install it.

Has anyone come across this and if so have you any suggestions how I can get
this installed.

Thanks

Photodraw has issues with XP...You might get lucky to get it to run at one
point I did but have since started using Digital Image Pro as a replacement
to PhotoDraw

Another easy program to use is Serif Photoplus
http://www.serif.com/photoplus/photoplus10/index.asp

I use and recommend both ....Both programs are easy to use...Serif usually
offers some great deals on their programs...
