invisible subreport header

I have placed a subreport in the header section of the main report. The
subreport control has a caption, whcih displays OK, and the rows of teh
subreport display OK, but, the subreport header (which contains the subreport
column names) does not display.

Is this what is supposed to happen, or have I done something wrong?

I just answered my own question. I had placed the subreport column labels in
the subreport's Page Header, whereas they should have been in its Report
Header.
