Is Visio 2003 PRO compatible with other Office 2007 Modules

Help!
Previously, I was using Office 2003 + Visio 2003 Pro + Project 2003
Pro installed in that order using Windows XP Pro O/S.

Recently, I installed the Office 2007 modules using Windows XP Pro O/
S. The Office 2007 installation process UNINSTALLED both MS Visio
2003 Pro and MS Project 2003 Pro. (My first question is why since
both
Project and Visio were separately installed in my previous
environment???)

So I want to re-install Visio and Project 2003 to run alongside the
Office 2007 modules since the cost to upgrade for a SOHO operation is
prohibitive. Question; Can I re-install Visio and Project 2003 and
are
they compatible with the Office 2007 modules?

Thanks for your feedback,

I can speak for Visio regarding this issue. You can have Office 2007
installed on a computer then install Visio 2003 and they should be
compatible. Note Office 2007 does not include Visio when you purchase it,
however it might include the Visio 2007 Viewer. The Viewer only allows
users to open and view Visio drawings. The other thing to take into
consideration is Office has shared components which allow interaction
between Office applications.

as an FYI some office installs don't really pay attention to what may
already be installed on the system. IME they may overwrite existing Visio
files and you can be forced to reinstall Visio.
