LDAP Error Message

Hi,

I use Entourage 2008 with newest Updates on a OSX 10.4.11 (Intel iMac). The
local Mailserver is Exchange 2003. Several times a day Entourage comes up
with a LDAP Connection Error 150. On other Intelmachines with same config
there is no Problem. So my guess it's that I am handling with a client
problem. Anyone had the same problem before? FYI: the LDAP service runs on a
Windows 2003 Server.

Bye,
Erik

Hi Erik!

Do you have another Global Catalog server in your network? If so, use it
for your LDAP lookups and see if that makes a difference.

Hi William,

unfortunately we don't have another LDAP-Service here. But other clients use
same LDAP-Service and same configuration with no errors.

Best,
Erik

Hi Erik!

All I can suggest is to start with a basic LDAP setup, which is just the
server name. Enable authentication but no SSL or search base. If that
doesn't work then verify a good search base string with your
administrator and try that.

Good luck!
