Leaving Groove - Easy Way to Move Files to a File Server

We have elected to move from Groove to a more traditional file-sharing
environment on our corporate network. Is there an easy way of copying all
the files/folder/shared spaces from Groove to a specified drive? We have
multiple shared spaces and thousands of files in hundreds of nested folders
in these spaces and we're trying to avoid the time-consuming process of
manually copying and pasting files into the appropriate network or hard drive
folders. If we could simply copy and paste the entire structure, we would.

Thanks in advance for your help.

In a roundabout way perhaps you could integrate Groove with SharePoint 3.0
and then with its file system structure you could either leave things there
or move them off to the traditional Explorer UI. SharePoint has the ability
to display an Explorer-like view which will allow the dragging and dropping
of an entire folder tree structure. As for how Groove and SharePoint
intertwine I have not experience with this and only am aware that this
potential exists as expressed in the Groove Help & Introduction instructions.

As for SharePoint, I would recommend you try it out for a week to see how
awesome it provides for library checkout/checkin functionality when paired
with Office 2007 (doesn't matter if XP or Vista from what I've seen). This
centrallized, logical, and historical version laden internal document system
is the future of Microsoft's Server products for business. I hope this
helps.
