Lines & Boxes not printing

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have a document from school (a nursing form that is RTF format) I've imported it into Word 2008, and have a page with boxes and lines with .75 pt borders that are black. When I go to print the page, the boxes disappear from the preview, and don't print out on the page.

Any thoughts?

Have a look in Word> Preferences> Print - there needs to be a check in the
Drawing Objects checkbox.
