Linkikng or importing Filemaker data

Hi,

I have a user with a beloved old Filemaker database. The db is useful and
_another_ user looks at it from time to time. The second user has Access
2003 and I want to set up an easy import or link facilty for them. At this
point I'm stuck - is there any way of pulling FP3 data into an Access
database short of exporting CSV from Filemaker?

Hi Pete,

If your user is still using version 3 of FileMaker the answer is almost
certainly no.

Recent versions of FileMaker can to connect to ODBC data sources, but
there last time I checked there wasn't seem to be a FileMaker ODBC
driver that would let other programs connect to FileMaker data. Even if
that's changed with the latest release (v. 8.5) it won't help you unless
your user upgrades.
