menu bar labels

Have a macbook pro ... pull down menu labels are different from mac version on desktop....
File, Edit, View, Insert, Tools, Data, Help,
on my desktop the menus are
File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Data, Window, Help

How do I get them to be one or the other?

How do I get them to be one or the other?

On your laptop:

Choose View/Customize Toolbars and Menus...

On the Toolbars and Menus pane, select "Standard" (so that it's
highlighted, not just with the checkbox checked). Click Reset.
