Microsoft Office Update

I went to download a MS Office update and was asked to
insert my MS Office CD-Rom. I found that I had misplaced
the required CD. I hit cancel. Now, whenever I attempt
to open Excel or any such document...I am again asked for
the CD and essentially locked out. Is there anything I
can do to get myself back to where I was?

I have never had the Mac version ask for the CD. This is strange.

Hmm...the updaters don't ask for my CD - which updater?

Service Release1 (SR1) which is included in the 10.1.2 updater,
started blocking CD keys that had been pirated/stolen or widely
published to prevent theft. I don't know if they've updated the list
of compromised keys in subsequent updates, but it wouldn't surprise
me.

In any case, you can get a replacement CD at
