Microsoft Proffesional 2007 Hybrid Cofig Window

Hi All,

I have recently purchased a new Dell Inspiron along with pre installed
Microsoft Professional 2007.

Everytime i launched outlook i receive the following pop up window.

"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Professional 2007
Hybrid edition"

Outlook then works but only until i send / receive.

I have trawled the web and tried various methods to prevent this but
with little or no success:

1) Total uninstall of office, Registry clean then Reinstallation = Not
resolved
2) Tried the process in the attached link - Not Resolved
http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archi...04/739820.aspx
3) Re setting all the shortcut links - Thought this had cracked it!
Works fine when i was offline, as soon as i go back online the problem
reoccurs.

If there is any bright spark that could offer me any further solutions
to try would be eternally grateful.

Thanks for that Peter, however its just another one to add to the list
as not resolving the issue.

Hi there,

Did you ever manage to resolve this issue? We have the same problem
tried the shortcut trick but have not managed to make any progress.

Did you manage to fix this?

Any help would be great.

Kind regards

Hi All,

I have an identical problem: Dell Studio XPS running Vista 32bit Home with
Office 2007 Professional. At first everything was running fine, but then I
started to get the same message. I 'think' it coincided with installing SP2.
I uninstalled Office completely, re-installed and it seemed fine until the
updates were applied.

I have tried contacting Dell about the issue, but they are remaining silent.

It is driving me nuts and slowing my work-rate down.

I am currently hoping that the upgrade to Win7 will magically fix everything
(I used Office Pro 2007 on an XP machine for a long time without issues).

I'd love some help. I have tried all the suggested fixes listed in this
thread.
