One of my users keeps getting a message to install Hybrid 2007. He clicks
ok,it installs and aske for a reboot. A Reboot is made. But then upon
reboot and launching some office applications, the same message comes up
asking to install again. How do I remove the message that keeps telling me
to install? Thank You.

Has anybody found a solution for this problem? We also have a user who has
the same problem. We have tried completely uninstalling all Office programs,
and doing a fresh install. It seems to be OK for a while, but if he opens
one of his documents that were created previously, it prompts to install
Hybrid again. . .If we let it try, it doesn't seem to do anything useful
(i.e. it continues to prompt every time a document is opened) And if we
cancel the install, it opens the file just fine. . .but still prompts to
install Hybrid every time.

Thanks!

Here is what I did to resolve my problem with this Hybrid 2007.
1.) Ran the following registry commands to have Outlook stop registering.
reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options /v NoReReg /t
REG_DWORD /d 1

reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options /v NoReReg /t
REG_DWORD /d 1

2.) Change the shortcut of outlook to point directly to Office 11\Outlook.exe
3.) Run CCCleaner
4.) Update to SP3 and downlload all the Microsoft Windows Update available
for the laptop.

These are the steps I did it in. Not sure if all that was needed was the
last step. Hope this helps.
