Missing the File Menu

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I can't get the File menu to display in the main Excel menu at the top of the application window.

OK, then go to the View Menu & select Customize Toolbars & Menus. On the
Toolbars page select the Worksheet Menu Bar by clicking on its name then
click the Reset button. If that doesn't correct it use the same dialog but
go to the Commands page, select Built-in Menus from the Categories list then
drag a new File menu from the Commands list to its rightful position on the
Worksheet Menu Bar.
