MS Office 2000 Word collapses immediately upon opening

HELP !

My MS Office 2000 WinWord.exe collapses immediately upon
opening. Its Version 9.0.3822 and my OS in Win 98
Version 4.10.1998.

The following error message appears and then I have to
close Word:

Its possibly a template corruption.
