MS Office Pro 2007 Trial Uninstall

I have a laptop which apparently had MS OFFICE Pro Trial version installed
originally then unknowingly, MS Office Pro 2007 was installed without
removing the trial version. Now the uninstall utility (Add or Remove
Programs) will not remove the trail version and issues the error ³The
product installation has been corrupted. Run setup again from the CD, DVD,
or other original installation source.² When I attempt to run setup it
fails for the trial version it fails and when the real version DVD is used,
it also fails. Bottom-line appears to be that I now have MS Office 2007 Pro
installed and a corrupt version of MS Office Pro 2007 Trial version and
every time I run an MS Office application (any of them), the installer
automatically runs about 4-5 times before the application starts up though
once this is complete, it does appear to run as expected. Unfortunately,
running the installer 4-5 times during startup is very irritating and takes
a bit of time before it¹s up and running. I¹ve looked through KB-928218 for
an uninstall if the ³add-or remove programs² utility is not able to
uninstall but I¹m not sure what to remove in order to just get rid of the
trial version which I assume is causing my problems. Any ideas on how to
get the installer to stop running every time an Office application is run?
Also, the MS Office Pro 2007 updates always fail now during install so I
haven¹t been able to update the product since the original install (maybe a
blessing:)). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just want to uninstall the trial version. Is there anyway to know what
files belong to the trial version and leave the full version alone? Or do I
just need to try to manually uninstall it all and just start over? Thanks.
