MS Project 2003 keeps shutting down when opening a file

My MS Project 2003 has decided not to open any project files. I have tried
re-installing to no avail. If i double-click on a project file, MS Project
starts up and then dissappears again when the file is open. My collegues can
open the file no problems. I believe it may be conflicting with other
software i have loaded on my laptop but i don't know where to start. I cant
afford to rebuild my laptop.

Is there any software that is incompatable??

Hope someone can help me, as being a project manager, i really need this to
work!!!!
